By accessing or using the LedgerLock platform, website, mobile application, or any related service (collectively, the "Service") operated by Lucid Tech Labs LLC ("Company," "we," "us," or "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Service.
LedgerLock is a post-quantum sealed evidence and chain-of-custody platform designed for use by law enforcement agencies, federal government entities, corporate legal teams, financial institutions, and other qualified organizations. The Service includes bootable forensic investigation tools, AI-assisted evidence analysis (ACI), PhylaxOne Verifiable Credential issuance, and Quorum encrypted evidence delivery.
Access to LedgerLock is limited to qualified organizations and individuals approved by Lucid Tech Labs LLC. The Service is not available to the general public. Use of the Service in law enforcement or government contexts may be subject to additional terms, certifications, and procurement requirements. You represent that your use of the Service complies with all applicable laws and regulations, including but not limited to CJIS Security Policy, applicable federal evidence rules, and chain-of-custody requirements in your jurisdiction.
LedgerLock provides cryptographic tools to assist in creating and preserving chain-of-custody records. The Company does not warrant that evidence collected using the Service will be admissible in any particular proceeding. Users are solely responsible for ensuring that their use of the Service complies with applicable laws, court rules, and agency policies governing electronic evidence collection. The Company is not a law firm and does not provide legal advice.
You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You may not use the Service to collect evidence in violation of applicable law, including without limitation in violation of the Fourth Amendment or equivalent constitutional protections, applicable wiretapping or electronic surveillance statutes, or court orders. You may not attempt to circumvent, disable, or interfere with security features of the Service. You may not access or attempt to access accounts or data belonging to other users.
The Company collects non-personally identifiable operational data to improve the ACI intelligence layer. This data does not include case content, evidence files, suspect information, or personal identifying information from investigations. Full details are available in our Privacy Policy. Evidence packages processed through the Service are encrypted and accessible only to authorized parties you designate. The Company does not access, review, or retain the contents of evidence packages.
The Service, including all software, algorithms, documentation, and related materials, is the proprietary intellectual property of Lucid Tech Labs LLC and is protected by United States and international intellectual property laws, including United States Patent No. 18/963,086. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service in accordance with these Terms. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or sublicense any portion of the Service.
You agree to maintain the confidentiality of any non-public information about the Service, including architecture details, pricing, and roadmap information, that is disclosed to you in connection with your use of or access to the Service.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE COMPANY SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION LOSS OF DATA, LOSS OF EVIDENCE ADMISSIBILITY, OR LOSS OF INVESTIGATIVE OPPORTUNITY, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. THE COMPANY'S TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNTS PAID BY YOU TO THE COMPANY IN THE TWELVE MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. THE COMPANY DOES NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE ERROR-FREE, UNINTERRUPTED, OR THAT EVIDENCE COLLECTED USING THE SERVICE WILL BE ADMISSIBLE IN ANY LEGAL PROCEEDING.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Colorado, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Denver, Colorado.
The Company reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will provide notice of material changes through the Service or by email. Your continued use of the Service after such notice constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
